the words of george costanza never rang more true. we are so THRILLED  to FINALLY be able to announce...that we have been CHOSEN!!!

we were able to send this lovely valentine out to our families to announce our big news! we are busting with excitement, joy and full of thanksgiving! it all still feels so very surreal.

our dear, prospective birthmother found us through "Parent Profiles"! what a wonderful site it has proven to be. just being on there for TWO MONTHS and we were found! the next time we adopt, we are for sure putting our profile on there.

after nine and a half years of marriage, we are FINALLY going to be parents!! we were chosen in early January 2013. baby girl will be born in her mama's hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.

we are so very grateful to our Heavenly Father for this very important blessing that is FINALLY coming to our family.
